I want to ride it! Who wants to come along?
Where and when? Is there a website with this info?
This is from an email I received…
"On Saturday June 21 at 7:30 a.m. the N.E. Florida MS Society will be hosting a mini MS Bike Tour starting from the TPC in Sawgrass. This ride will be supported with SAG, Official Bike MS Bike Shops, Police and Motorcycle Support. A light breakfast and lunch will be served, plus all your rest stop needs such as Gatorade and Water! Bring your friends, family and co-workers to train with you! There will be a $5.00 charge."
I definitely plan to ride! I hope to see a lot of you there.
I can't find any info on this, what is the distance and route? Are they riding to Vilano?
I just received this:
Start at PGA Headquarters (112 PGA Blvd, Ponte Vedra). Route is the same as years past- south on A1A to the gate station and back (about 25 miles). It will begin at 7:30 a.m. but we encourage people to arrive by 7 to check-in ($5 reg fee to cover costs). We will also have a safety briefing led by a team captain at 7:15. Thanks for spreading the word!
I am going to try and be there as well. 7 am whew……early.
I'm planning on being there as well. I think we're going to have splinter group that heads down to Vilano and over the Vilano bridge before heading back. I think the mileage will be about 45 and I expect a 20-22 mph pace over that distance. "safety briefing led by a team captain at 7:15" - That'd be BCBS team captain Lisa who's going to go over basic hand signs as there are a lot of "new" riders out there, so, please be extra vigilant.
Well I just found out that I have to watch my niece tomorrow morning, :-( , so I wont be attending, but will still get in a short ride in the morning before the energy train makes it to my front door. She could fill in for the energizer rabbit if it ever needed a break. Love her, but I have to prepare mentally for her visits and 12 hrs notices is not enough time. Something to be said for having kids early in life, I really don't know how people 40's+ handle little kids full time. I give my sister and brother in law high marks as they are both on the edge of hitting 50 and have a 6 year old.
